1st trip to the beach

This past weekend we packed up and headed to Virginia Beach where Michael and I shot a wedding at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens! (Be sure to check out pictures from the wedding here: http://ashleyeiban.com/2012/06/02/andrew-paige-are-married/)

 She sure was excited to head out there ;)

We had to stop for a slurpee at 7-11. Makes them so much better being at the beach!

Getting all sun-screened up! It was so windy she was COVERED in sand while trying to rub in her sunscreen. yuck!

 Unfortunately, it was SO windy that we were all miserable! We were having to huddle around Emmie to keep her from getting hurt from the sand. 

Cleaning her off was an entire different story! Because of the wind there was sand EVERYWHERE! We stripped her down and rinsed her off as best we could. so funny! 

Hopefully our next beach trip will be much more enjoyable! :)
